Logbook packs
Once the DTAL Program Manager receives the enrolment information for Theory 1, student names will be checked off and recorded in a database.
Coordinators will be advised of any students found to not meet the eligibility requirements and will be provided with an explanation. Such students may be entitled to a full refund.
Once the student enrolments have been confirmed, assigned DTAL Theory 1 Packs will be forwarded to the DTAL Coordinator to replenish resources and, where applicable, for on-forwarding to the Theory Instructor on the day of the scheduled class.
The DTAL Theory 1 packs consist of the following:
- For on-forwarding to the Theory 1 Instructor
- Registered DTAL Logbook
- Most current list of Registered Instructors
- One assessment answer sheet
- Promotional Materials (on occasion)
- For Coordinator resource replacement
- Homework (Theory 1)
- Road User Handbooks
- Promotional Materials (on occasion)
Reminder note: As students enrol in a class, Coordinators are requested to issue them with a Road User Handbook and Theory 1 Homework Sheet, with instructions to read the Handbook and complete the homework prior to attending the scheduled class. A starter pack will be forwarded to Coordinators at the commencement of registration with the Program, including:
- 25 x Road User Handbooks
- 25 x Theory 1 Homework Sheets
Any un-issued packs and completed student assessment answer sheets must be returned to the DTAL Program Manager within seven days of the class completion.
