Training in the Northern Territory
Policies
Policies and procedures are developed to support the NT Government’s goals in employment and training. Such policies and procedures are chiefly for the whole employment and training sector although a small proportion of them are to underpin the internal working arrangements of the Employment and Training Division of DET.
Policies and procedures are developed to enable the strategic priorities of DET to be implemented and to give substance to agreements made by the NT Government to national reforms of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
During 2007 some policies will be reviewed and there will be development of new policies by the Training Strategy Unit. See VET Sector Policies Development and Review or contact
