Northern Territory Occupation Shortage List

The Employment and Training Division at the Department of Employment, Education and Training (DEET) has developed an NT Occupation Shortage List in response to stakeholder requests for more information about occupations experiencing shortages, recruitment difficulties and skill gaps.

The NT Occupation Shortage List covers skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled occupations.

The Employment and Training Division has reviewed the 2007 list to account for emerging shortages and new information from consultations and research. The 2008 list represents the latest available information and is as comprehensive as possible.
