Workforce NT

The future prosperity of the Northern Territory hinges on a skilled and competitive workforce. Economic and social prosperity will be governed in part by the capacity of Territorians to fill job opportunities and for the Territory to compete with the rest of Australia and the world for future labour markets.

To do this the Territory needs a solid research base from which employment and training trends and outcomes can be planned for and anticipated.

The Workforce NT Report is a comprehensive report focused on the labour market. It provides local business, industry and government with information about employment and the labour market in the NT. It is linked to current government strategies, which will help to develop a skilled workforce for the future of the Territory.
