2006 Australians Working Together Grants
The Australians Working Together Grants program is an initiative of the Northern Territory Government, using funds provided through the Australian Government’s Australians Working Together package.
The 2006 Australians Working Together programs provide resources targeted to boost employment and training opportunities for:
- People with disabilities;
- Parents returning to the workforce after an absence of 5 years or more;
- Long term unemployed migrants;
- Refugees;
- Mature-age workers;
- Prisoners and offenders;
- Very long-term unemployed people (VLTU) or those at risk of becoming VLTU.
Programs are designed to improve employment opportunities for people from the above target groups in the Northern Territory and will utilise links to existing services and establish partnership/collaborative arrangements with key stakeholders.
Who can apply?
Incorporated organisations, Registered Training Organisations, schools and individuals in exceptional circumstances were invited to apply in 2006.
