NTCE Reporting and Certification

SSABSA, on behalf of the Northern Territory Board of Studies, issues the NTCE to students who have completed the certificate requirements.

Certification and related documents of the NTCE

Northern Territory Certificate of Education

The NTCE consists of a parchment-style certificate attesting to the student’s completion of the certificate requirements. Only one certificate is issued to an individual student; however, after completion of the NTCE, students may undertake further NTCE studies if they wish to do so.

The NTCE is an official document, and is recognized for university entrance purposes in a wide range of countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Record of Achievement

The Record of Achievement comprises a detailed, cumulative record of the results that the student obtained in subjects at Stage 1 and Stage 2 and which contributed towards the completion of NTCE requirement, and all achievements after NTCE completion.

Results of subjects in which the requirements of satisfactory or recorded achievement have not been met are not reported on the Record of Achievement.

When students have met tertiary entrance eligibility requirements, a university aggregate and a Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) are recorded on the reverse side of the Record of Achievement.

Where a student has completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) competencies as part of their NTCE studies, the number of VET credits completed will be included on the Record of Achievement.

Statement of Results

The Statement of Results is a detailed cumulative record of studies undertaken at Stage 1 of the NTCE. It is an interim record that shows a student’s current enrolments as well as all results achievement to date in NTCE studies.

Vocational Education and Training Information

The Vocational Education and Training Information statement will outline all of the VET competencies completed by the student as part of his or her NTCE studies.
