Gifted Education
The Education Advisor – Gifted Education is based in Darwin but provides support to all school communities across the Northern Territory with all aspects of gifted education. Schools are assisted to implement the recommendations found in the Policy for the Education of Gifted Students in the Northern Territory 2006. Advice, information and resources are provided to schools to facilitate the effective education of gifted students through the development and implementation of:
- Strategic planning and school policy development;
- Professional learning for school communities;
- Student identification processes;
- Effective educational pedagogy.
