Welcome to the Connecting Through Film 2008 Schools Film Festival.
Connecting Through Film is a filmmaking competition open to students from Transition to Year 12 who are enrolled in NT schools this year. It is run by the Northern Territory Department of Employment, Education and Training.
The winning films will be screened under the stars at Darwin’s Deckchair Cinema on Saturday 30 August. The audience will vote for the People’s Choice Award.
You can become involved in Connecting Through Film even if you’re not a filmmaker, by reviewing one of the films. If your review is one of the best, you’ll win $50 for yourself, $50 for your school and possibly a place on the 2009 judging panel.
We hope you’ll support this first ever festival so it can be even bigger and better next year.
