Literacy Project
The Literacy Project assists schools to meet the literacy outcomes identified in the NT Curriculum Framework (NTCF) by providing teachers, parents and communities with knowledge, understandings and effective strategies to enhance learning.
The Literacy Project aims to build relationships with schools to develop whole school literacy approaches across the curriculum, and to build the capacity of teachers to deliver effective and appropriate literacy programs for all children.
The Literacy Team
Aim
- To build relationships with schools to develop whole school literacy approaches across the curriculum, and to build the capacity of teachers to deliver effective and appropriate literacy programs for all students.
- To deliver quality professional development in a range of contexts and all sessions can be tailored to suit the needs of a school. Participants will add resources based on the NTCF to their literacy teaching tool kit. Opportunities forsharing the implementation in the classroom will follow each session.
