Future NTCE completion requirements
The Board is seeking input from parents, students, educators and the community regarding the completion requirements for the future Northern Territory Certificate of Education (NTCE).
Although the future NTCE will be based on the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) the certificates do not have to have identical completion requirements. There can be some differences between a future SACE and a future NTCE.
The NT has the opportunity to consider the completion requirements for the future SACE and comment on their suitability as completion requirements for the future NTCE. The discussion paper (pdf 178Kb) on the completion requirements of the future NTCE examines the risks and benefits of varying each requirement that the SACE has as compulsory. Feedback on the points raised can be provided by completing the online form.
All feedback must be received by the Northern Territory Board of Studies by Friday 8 August 2008.
