Learning Lessons Implementation Steering Committee (LLISC)
The Learning Lessons Implementation Steering Committee (LLISC) was established in March 2002 to provide high-level advice to the Minister for Employment, Education and Training on the implementation of the 'Learning lessons' review: Learning lessons - An independent review of Indigenous education in the Northern Territory [NTDE 1999] formed the basis of the Indigenous Education Strategic Plan 2000-2004.

LLISC public meeting records 2002-2005
The steering committee met four times a year in different parts of the Territory. The first meeting was held in Darwin in March 2002.
The public meeting records list the committee's decisions and recommendations to the Minister and were made available once the Minister had considered the outcomes of the meeting - so that his decisions could be incorporated into the final Record.
