The Try’aTrade program seeks to.....

Motivate students and others through a hands-on experience, and sharing of information about future career choices to encourage participants to appreciate that skill education and training offers more choices for the future.

It is an interactive activity that allows visitors to the event to “have-a-go” at various skill and trade areas. The displays are entertaining, informative and offer access to some of the basic skills involved in a range of trades for interested people.

Try’aTrade event allows young people to meet and talk with people who are recognised as leaders in their trade, apprentices, VET teachers and local business people.
