Adult Learners Week logo

1 - 8 September 2008

Adult Learners Week (ALW) is an opportunity to celebrate, promote and advance all forms of adult learning. By celebrating ALW together, we can raise the profile of adult learning and highlight its value to the Northern Territory community.

Adult Learners Week (ALW)

Events calendar

ALW provides organisations that offer any form of adult learning activity, the opportunity to either hold a special promotional activity or to label their existing learning activities as ALW events. If your organisation is offering any form of learning activity in the week of 1-8 September 2008 – for example, courses, classes, lectures, exhibitions, tours, training programs, tutoring, discussion groups – then you can participate in ALW and celebrate and promote what you do to the wider community.

Visit Events Calendar to add your activity.

Promotion

If you have a learning activity to promote, there are a few ways in which it can be advertised it for you. Firstly, to register your event please log onto Adult Learners’ Week website. The ALW events calendar will be advertised through local newspapers. This is your opportunity to promote your adult learning activity for free and to be part of this national initiative.
